1920s handmade folk art ship 'Stella' Kristianstad Denmark

This model ship created by Alfred Riber, a Danish helmsman born in 1895, possibly while serving aboard a ship that sank in 1920. Carved from a solid pine block, the intricate design reveals rigging details running through the hull.

Accompanied by a card with a Danish inscription, it reads: "Once you left on a bumpy ride, now you can stand on display here" – Alfred Riber.
